Call Employment Connections to find the perfect employees for your business or organization. Our representatives will work with you to conduct a worksite analysis, identify specific work skills needed and present prescreened candidates for you to interview.
Once your workforce is in place, we can develop individualized training plans – complete with job coaches for on-the-job training – to ensure all the job skills are learned to meet your requirements. Ongoing job support provides cost-free employee assistance to address any employer or employee needs. As a further benefit, the Work Opportunity Tax Credit can reduce an employer’s federal income tax liability for the first 12 months of employment for each qualified new hire.
Pathways2Success
The Pathways 2 Success is an innovative collaborative program of partners that include: Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Lott Industries, the Ability Center of Greater Toledo, and Owens Community College. The partners were able to draw down roughly $1.2 million dollars in federal funding to provide vocational rehabilitation services to youth with disabilities between the ages of 16-24.
What this means to you as an employer is that we can provide qualified, motivated and well matched individuals with disabilities to meet your precise workforce needs. Job coaching and follow-along services can be provided to ensure individual performance meets all job specifications. In addition to providing reliable employees, there are other financial benefits to your company including access to Work Opportunity Tax Credits and On-the-Job training services that may reimburse on site employer incurred training costs. You can contact us at any time while the individual remains employed if you have questions or further needs.
Lastly, we can intervene with any worker within your company having disability related impact on the job. Our services and trained staff can assist you to retain experienced employees. Please contact Robert Wegman M.R.C., C.R.C., of Lott Industries for questions or further assistance. (419) 536-5564
